Bow Lake Transfer Station
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Shinn Mechanical, Inc. teamed up with Lydig Construction during the procurement stage to procure and build a new transfer station for King County at the existing Bow Lake site. Due to the nature of a transfer station the project this site included several custom mechanical systems for odor, dust, rain water collection, tire washing, and refueling facility. Our group dreamed up creative ideas such as multi trade double containment conduit systems that benefited contractors and the end user. Being involved from the beginning, we were proactive in scheduling and manning the job. This led to the mechanical portion of the construction project being completed ahead of schedule.
