ABOUT THE PROJECT

Shinn Mechanical, Inc. was the prime Mechanical Contractor for the construction of a new 1,860,000 square foot facility for the rental car agencies at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. We utilized BIM, total station points layout, modular fabrication, and organized work flow activities to the greatest extent possible to improve our production on site. Working hand in hand with the general contractor Turner was a rewarding experience. We were able to identify both the challenges and the opportunities that ultimately drove the mechanicals schedule and budget. Shinn Mechanical was excited to be a part of this project and enjoyed the entire process.
