Project Manager
Shinn Mechanical is currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team.
Shinn Mechanical’s construction management staff is comprised of a close-knit group working collaboratively to ensure that projects are delivered on-time and on-budget. As a member of the team, this person would be exposed to unique projects in the mechanical construction field and enjoy excellent opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain client relationships, respond to RFPs, provide budgeting and cost estimates.
Manage projects where Shinn is the prime/GC or subcontractor.
Oversee work from inception to completion.
Review contracts, drawings, and specifications for consistency and completeness.
Identify, estimate, and track change orders.
Provide accurate cost projections to accounting.
Communicate project P&L information to executive leadership.
Assist in preparation of project schedules.
Update and manage project data files.
Process and track Submittals, RFI’s, and project documents.
Communicate with General Contractor, Design Team, and Owner.
Work with warehouse/purchasing department to coordinate site setup and logistics.
Qualifications:
Five (5) years of construction management related experience.
Demonstrated experience managing commercial/industrial mechanical projects.
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Bachelor’s degree in construction management or business management preferred.
